I welcome your input to these two games. The main person to watch is our possible new recruit sanemaniac. I do not know sanemaniac well, but look forward to getting to know this new player. A small disclaimer of my opinion/comments on replays. No one is perfect, I could easily point out 20 or more things I did wrong in the first replay of the two. I make accurate observation of players(or a team) not to nag, but to show were we(or they, or whomever) can improve on their game play... if they choose to do so. So to the replays!
Recruitment Match [1.24.1]
Look at those stats! Fantastic! Everything you would like to see from a nevermore carry. Lets take a quick look at the lanes that we have compared to the opponents.
Jugg, siren vs slark, Treant. I never believe in dual melee combos, but this match up was boggled due to the fact that both teams had dual melee(did not watch early game). In mid lane there is Viper vs Nevermore. Pretty classic combo and I find it a fair match up. Top lane is Dazzle Rexxar vs Veno D.S., which is a very interesting match up.
The player I watched throughout the replay was sanemaniac. Sanemaniac dukes it our versus rum in the middle lane. In many cases, the the two heroes Nevermore and Viper clashing in middle is epic! This was not one of those cases. The viper never harassed nevermore, and in addition he kept auto attacking his lane resulting in the always being on the scourge side.
In addition, Nevermore last hit fairly well, not perfect, but no one is perfect. He didn't try any aggressive moves on the viper, and fell victim to a gank at 8 minutes into the game.
In attempt to counter future ganks, sanemaniac purchased wards. 9 - 11 minutes into match there was some conflicts in the middle, but he there was nothing significant other than me(dazzle) feeding a kill in the middle.
He was able to place a ward at bottom rune at approximately the 11 min mark. And the second one at the top rune spot 15 mins in. 16 mins in the two solo mids hit it off again. Sadly neither rum nor sane took advantage of the situation. With some orb walking the viper could have easily ran over the nevermore. I feed another kill to nevermore 17 minute mark. 18:46 minutes into the game, sentinel underestimate the killing power of the scourge and end up feeding a good number of kills to the scourge team. 20 minutes in Nevormore dies to Juggernaut.
It was an unavoidable incident due to lack of recon of heroes. 23 minutes in is were sanemaniac makes his first major mistake as far as silly deaths. In attempt to push the lane faster he puts himself in a vulnerable position and ends up dieing for it. 24:30 minutes in is were he makes his second mistake. Although this one he was attempting to gank as a team, it was a tower dive with only 3 players against at least 2 opposing heroes. This caused him to die again.
26 minutes in the scourge team serves the uncordinated sentinel team, nevermore had little to do with this, but it was interesting to watch the combination of D.S., Veno, Treant, and Slark in play. It is a good note that this was a fairly well organized group of players for never playing with one another before.(All 5 players on scourge are pushing top). Sent team feeding another kill to scourge at 27:30 minutes... 25 minutes with sanemaniac's grind is his first major item, which isn't horrible. But is a bit late.
29 minutes in sent gets a good gank on the scourge, but than one by one picked sentinel heroes were picked off by nevermore. This was a major loss for the sentinel, but wasn't the finishing crushing blow to the game.
32 minutes in is were sanemaniac makes his third mistake of going out too far against a pushing team. (This could happen to anyone tho lol :)).
35 minutes in Nevermore keeps picking up kills.
37 minutes in he picks up an impressive kill on dazzle, and gets away from the battle alive. 39 minute mark the scourge team wins another battle decisively, Treant's ult in addition to Nevermore's ult made quick work of Viper and Dazzle. 42 minutes in the scourge finally takes down Nevermore and Slark. But lost Dazzle and Viper to a battle very shortly later. Many Battles later, and one very bad positioned battle 50 minutes into the game, resulted in the victory of the scourge.
The sentinel team still had a good chance to win this match, I found that the hero Rexar was very slow on his grind and generally didn't have a strong enough impact, dazzle played horrible because rarely saved anyone with grave nor abused the other many benifits of dazzle, Siren was about to strut her stuff but just didn't, and juggernaut got kited and beat down by Darkseer and Treant. And scourge overall played very well!
So 3 distinct-able mistakes all game for sanemaniac, not too bad. I believed he grinded fine, and came up for team battles at least to pick up kills. In my opinion sanemaniac deserves more opportunities to play with our clan and I look forward to getting to know his play style more. Above all else, he appeared to work well with his teammates during the matches, and even forfeited some of his money to buy wards.(woot! :D)
What do you guys think of sir sanemaniac from this game?
Recruitment Match 2 [1.24.1]
As for the second replay, I spent too much time on first review, and there is really nothing to be said about this game. It doesn't accurately show any of sanemaniac's skills because leavers and overall bad team play by his teammates. I would call it a "null" game.
I've been looking up artwork of dota. And I came upon this cute background. Its really old, but I like it ^.^. The invoker expression is pretty awesome >:D. And lina... lol.

They are hard to see because of the scan, but I'll change that. One is a young invoker, and one is a invoker conjuring or something :P.

Replay Puppey vs Smiske
This is a MUST SEE. Watch this replay if you like E.S. or Furion. It really is the coolest showing of these two heroes at play. I enjoyed it completely and suggest it to all those who like fun replays with Furion. Just follow him around :). I give it 9 out of 10. The replay and chart are from gosugamers.net.

Blight.int vs Iwin4AIDS
This is an essential replay to watch for people like me. Team Blight.int, all in all got smoked. They played real well... they ganked... grinded... all the normal things done to succeed in a game. But even though this is true, Team Blight.int whom are one of the best teams in the world, lost in an epic fashion.
Why is that important?
I, like many other players, want to win every game or play awesomely every game. It is not possible. I am guilty of placing all the blame on myself or at times other people. But after the game ends, if we tried our best, than we improved in some way. But after that game, there is some awesome replays of Team Blight.int plowing through some high class teams later on. So the message I get from replays like this is, don't get stuck in the past.
Besides that, the replay is an interesting replay for those lovers of juggernaut/razor/veno. That is 3 carries for the scourge team Iwin4Aids. Iwin4AIDS is the famous player Loda's new team. His new aka is Iwin4AIDS. I was a devout Loda lover, but I don't know about his new tag... so I don't watch his replays much. But! With this interesting lineup, I could not pass up the chance of watching it. I love tri-lane play! There is lots of action. And it was just well played by Iwin4Aids all together. I give it a 8.5 out 10, loved the bottom lane action. All thanks to gosugamers.net for there replay/chart.

Dota Map 6.66!
I got off my games at the wrong time today... because not over an hour later, the new version Dota 6.66 was released! What is significant about this new version? For my game play, the changes to Earth Shaker and Invoker abilities have the most impact. Invoker
- Invoke cd from 30/25/12/5 cd to 22/17/12/5
- Invoke manacost from 20/50/80/110 to 20/40/60/80
- Alacrity bonus damage increased from 20-80 to 30-90
- Alacrity duration increased from 8 to 9
- Chaos Meteor damage improved:
Main damage from 40-130 to 55-145 every 0.5 seconds
Burn damage from 8-26 to 11-29 per second
- Cold Snap now applies an initial ministun on cast
- Forged Spirits Armor is now based on Exort and Range is now based on Quas
- Ghost Walk manacost reduced from 300 to 200
- Ghost Walk slow rescaled from 10-40% to 20-40%
- Ice Wall manacost increased from 125 to 175
- Ice Wall cooldown increased from 20 to 25
- Sun Strike damage rescaled from 75-450 to 100-475
- Tornado range increased from 700-3100 -> 800-3200
- Tornado duration increased from 0.6-2.2 -> 0.8-2.5
- Tornado damage increased from max of 375 to 400
- Quas per instance regen from 0.75 to 1
and Earthshaker
- Echo Slam no longer counts corpses for damage Echo damage (They used to count them for partial damage)
- Aftershock AoE from 280 to 300
- Enchant Totem damage increased from 50/100/150/200 to 75/150/225/300
- Added Aghanim's Scepter to Earthshaker's Echo Slam (echo bounces twice for each hero it hits)
- Echo Slam's Echo damage increased from 35/45/65 to 40/55/70
- Echo Slam's unit search aoe increased by 75 (this is not the damage aoe, just the initial unit search aoe)
- Note: The main idea with most of these changes is to emphasis the timing aspect of the echo slam more. Some other buffs are done to compensate for the reduced power from the corpse count loss.
AND !!!!
* Fixed some mac specific bugs
Really nice update, I think the hero AA should have been debuffed more... but we cant complain that much. Here is the rest of the change log.
This is a replay that I got from John. It was interesting replay to watch. I really found Johns rhasta playing early game very effective. I also found the team's coordination very good most of the game. I did not really enjoy the replay as a whole tho. If I was to critique this game. I would target Rum's lack of involvement in any team battles until at least 35 minutes into the game. The line "They will leave the game if I play" is frankly bull for the rest of the team. But I guess it was entertaining to see his end games items into play... also I never saw huy as razor use the steal attack damage move(which I find a very important skill). There were tons of mistakes by the opposing team and some minor mistakes here and there that didn't make the game as good as it could have. It was a victory for the home team(except StrwbrryIcCream), which I'm happy about. For the pwnage of rhasta and the overall good early game playing by the team, I'd give it a 6/10 replay.
Replay Manager version 2.0
While trying to figure out a better way to post replays, I came across this program. This program runs very similar to the program bwchart, which was a starcraft replay analyzer. It is very neat and I advice it to anyone who watches many many replays. I got the program from http://www.dota-utilities.com/2009/02/dota-replay-manager-version-2-released.html. There is some small differences between the accuracies in the charts and the real game, but they are pretty damn close. Check it out!
VS

A very cool chart done thenonhacker on deviantart.com. It is funny looking, so I set it as my background. You can download the file here.
I have made a couple accounts clan members. They are huy, vu, bigpanda, cum and mike. If you wish to use the emails I made for you, you just need to request for it on bnet. If you wanna use your own gmail email account, than just add a comment to one of the posts and have your email shown.
Replay Clan vs Pub [11.1.2010]
A rough day of gaming for me. I made a mistake of following an acquaintance to another clans channel and participated in an inny match with them. Made me miss my clannies very badly. I played two matches today with the clan against public players. I did not save the first game, but the second game I did save. In this replay me, vu, huy, shin from awol, and 1 pubby player. I believe the player of the match would have to be vu for his aggressive VS playing. It really puts the opponents off balance. I would give the replay a a 6/10 because there wasnt much oposition to our team.
Replay Blight.int vs MCity^Shaton [1.10.2010]
Another replay from gosugamers.net. This replay shows many of the old members of MYM on team Blight.int. Such popular players that you may wanna keep your eye on are Kuroky, Fear, and Puppey because they generally play very well. This replay is no exception. This replay is very similar to the Tribal - UBLI match by it plays Furion/VS/Antimage combo. Although this is true, there is a huge difference in the style being played by this Furion, the VS goes a different talent build, and Antimage goes a different item build. It is a very entertaining game, and its always fun to watch ex MYM members play. 10/10 for how well they played. The opposing team got rolled this match. Replay and chart are taken from http://www.gosugamers.net/dota/replays/27442.
